Centralization of Java Security Policy Management
Kalina, Jan ; Rogalewicz, Adam (referee) ; Letko, Zdeněk (advisor)
WildFly is a platform for distributed environment which meets specification of Java Enterprise Edition. This thesis deals with possibilities of centralized management of security policies in this environment. Security policy is a set of permissions to which the Java virtual machine (JVM) limits possibilities of running applications. Just possibilities of security policy using was in WildFly so far heavily restricted. The result of the thesis are extensions of WildFly which add possibility of central deployment of security policies to individual servers, without need for restart that server, into program interface of WildFly and into WildFly management console. Part of result is also patch of core of WildFly, which solve problem of exchange security policy at runtime of JVM.

Automatic configuration of workstations in Cisco academy laboratory
Homolka, Jiří ; Jelínek, Mojmír (referee) ; Komosný, Dan (advisor)
My thesis is focused on the subject of working with distant stations connected with the laboratory control of Cisco academy. Station operations, i.e. laboratory control, have been carried in the environment of the Linux operating systems. The first part of the thesis includes a description of the laboratory, its network architecture and software equipment. Also, the VMware tool is described here. VMware tool is intended for virtualization of computer stations, where the virtual station is created. In this virtual station another operating system may be run. The problems of the command interpreter, its function and possibilities are described here too. Main attention is devoted to the Bash command interpreter and to the creation of the scripts. There are descriptions of the basic tools intended for the network communication with the distant stations. Among the most important parts belong the protected communication, the production of the autentization keys as well as the tool for data recording on more stations at the same time. The description of the access rights to the files and directories is included too. The target of this thesis was to create the scripts in the Bash programming language. The scripts are focused on working with the laboratory stations. They are the sublayers of the common project for this laboratory control. They were developed for the cooperation with the the web interface and MySQL database, created by Bc. Zdeněk Hrabal. The Scripts are intended for the finding information about the stations and virtual systems, and also for the recording images and configuration files of the virtual systems at the distant stations. Recording files and directories is enabled too. The other scripts deal with the erasing and changing of the rights of the particular files and directories. Setting commads with the super-user competence is used at this place. The scripts for the switching on and off the laboratory workstations were created too. To solve the problem described above I chose to develope more scripts. Each of them subserves the particular part of the task. The form of the input and output data of the scripts was select with the reference to the cooperation with the web interface and database. The data are implemented by the form of the input and output files. The output information and the process of the carried operations are displayed through the web interface. The scripts together with the web interface are placed and run from the school server adela.utko.feec.vutbr.cz. In the thesis the settings of the access privileges for the current directories and the files of virtual systems and scripts are presented too.
Application for Controlled Access to Remote Documents for GNU/Linux
Bernard, Jan ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is synchronization and life cycle of files downloaded to user's computer from validated data storage. Based on market analysis there is large selection of applications in market but there are relatively large differences along them. Application was designed and implemented for GNU/Linux according to requirements and given validated data storage communication. The application was tested on two selected Linux distributions with Mock Server represententing remote storage.
The role of public prosecutor in the insolvency proceedings
Kubala, Tomáš ; Sedláček, Miroslav (advisor) ; Pohl, Tomáš (referee)
- 1 - The role of public prosecutor in the insolvency proceedings Abstract The activity of public prosecution is exclusively associated with the criminal proceedings. Therefore, the fact that it also has a very important non-criminal scope of authority is oftentimes forgotten. The primary focus of this thesis is to uncover such second part of its authority, particularly with respect to the insolvency proceedings. Due to the fact that the position of public prosecution has not yet been properly clarified, cases in real life occur, in which even parties to the proceedings themselves question, whether the public prosecution being a party to the respective insolvency proceeding can be deemed as beneficial or whether it was even entitled to exercise some of its procedural acts. The first part of this thesis shall focus on the historic summary of evolution of non-criminal authority of public prosecution (including the insolvency proceedings) and on specification of the basic principle, which is to be pursued or followed during the course of its (entire) activity and which has undergone some evolution throughout the history as well. In the next part, the general legislation shall be discussed which allows the public prosecution to enter into certain proceedings, and even initiate a few of them. Some of the...

Activities of the Police of the Czech Republic during Demonstrations
DVOŘÁK, Petr
The general public is interested in actions of the Police of the Czech Republic during demonstrations fuelled by the political situation and the rise of various extremist movements. Demonstrations are always covered by the media and people often express their opinion about the operation of specialized units of the Czech Police. Due to the non-ending discussions, I consider this theme to be interesting and topical for its processing in this bachelor thesis. The thesis defines the basic concepts, the specifics of the Police of the Czech Republic, i.e. its tasks, obligations and authorizations to intervene, use coercive means, procedures and tactics to control riots. Furthermore, the work outlines individual units of the Czech Police intervening during the demonstration,s such as the anti-conflict team, the specialized unit for riot control and the unit for reinstatement of order. Last but not least, the thesis focuses on the demonstration participants who profess some kind of political belief. As an example and a fact of interest, the deployment of the riot control unit of the South Bohemian Region in period 2010 1st half of 2016 is described, which proves that the need for this riot control unit is increasing steadily. The information contained in the thesis can be beneficial not only for students, but also for the general public.
Soothsharp: A C#-to-Viper translator
Hudeček, Petr ; Parízek, Pavel (advisor) ; Ježek, Pavel (referee)
Viper is a verification infrastructure developed at ETH Zurich. Using this infrastructure, programs written in the Viper language may be analyzed for correctness with respect to assertions and contracts. In this thesis, we develop a contracts library and a translator program that compiles C# code into the Viper language and thus allows it to be verified. A user may annotate their C# program with these contracts and then use the translator to determine its functional correctness. The translator supports most C# features, including types and arrays. It also integrates with Visual Studio, showing translation and verification errors to the user on-the-fly.
Security features of Android operating system and custom ROMs.
David, Adam ; Palovský, Radomír (advisor) ; Pavlíček, Luboš (referee)
Primary goal of this work is to analyze the Android operation system and its security. Thesis is divided in three parts: in the first one I will briefly describe the operation system and its development, in the second part I will analyze Androids security model and last part focuses on features of alternative ROMs, repositories and applications with emphasis on security and privacy. Despite Androids availability for plethora of various devices this thesis will focus on mobile phones.
